Climate Change, Epidemics & Chinese Medicine: The Importance of the School of Heat

A fundamental tenant in Chinese medicine is that what happens in the world around us is mirrored in what happens within us. We'll incorporate contemporary climate science, western medical data and Chinese medicine's understanding of widespread sickness to discuss the direct connection between the condition of the planet, the state of our culture and the prevalence of contemporary epidemics.


We'll specifically look at the development of Lyme disease and COVID and the importance of differential diagnosis and disease progression theory to understand and treat the many symptoms of both diagnoses. We'll also talk about the vital importance of the Wen Bing/School of Heat as the epidemics tradition of Chinese medicine and the clinical integration of acupuncture, herbal…
