Admissions

Applicants for the Certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine program must be graduates of Master’s level Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine colleges which are accredited or in candidacy for accreditation with the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM). Current students nearing the end of their studies at an ACAOM approved college may be eligible for admission if they have completed NCCAOM certification exams. Contact the Admissions Director for more information.

Graduates of the Certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine program are eligible for the NCCAOM Chinese Herbology exam through conversion to Oriental Medicine Certification. To be eligible for the exam, graduates must be an NCCAOM Diplomate in Acupuncture in active status.

After your application and application fee are received, our Admissions Director will contact you to arrange an interview. Interviews may be conducted by phone or video call. You will be notified of the admission decision within 2 weeks of your interview. There are no course exemptions or transfer credits available for the CCHM program.
