Daoist Traditions Graduate Grant

The Daoist Traditions Graduate Grant offers a $500 prize to a recent graduate to help with the costs of certification exams, licensure, and setting up a practice. Details are emailed annually.

Golden Needle Scholarship

As part of their efforts to give back to the community, Golden Needle Acupuncture, Herbal, & Medical Supply offers an annual scholarship exclusively available to Daoist Traditions MAOM students. Golden Needle provides one $1000 scholarship and one $500 scholarship to the winner of an essay contest. Details are emailed annually.

Scholarships and Financial Aid for Minorities

The U.S. Department of Education recently invested $96 million in grants to provide additional financial aid specifically for minority students. This grant funding will go directly to colleges and universities to help them provide better financial support to their minority populations. Trudy McAlister Fund Scholarship

The Triskeles Foundation offers this donor-funded scholarship for students of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in ACAOM accredited or candidate schools.

ABORM Annual Scholarship

To foster new scholarly inquiry in the field of Oriental Reproductive Medicine & Infertility for publication in the Journal of Chinese Medicine and prize of $1,000. Healthcare Leaders Scholarship

The Healthcare Leaders Scholarship is offered to students entering or currently pursuing an educational program related to nursing or medicine. Students must be at least 17 years of age and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. All applicants must submit a 600 to 1,000-word essay explaining what they hope to accomplish during their career in the medical field and how the scholarship would fulfill those goals. Recommended topics are included in the Personal Essay section. All applications must be received by January 29th, 2017. Finalists will be notified in February and must provide proof of enrollment and GPA (letters of acceptance, transcripts, etc.) before the scholarship recipient is selected.

Quit Smoking Community Scholarship awards $3,000 in scholarships each semester to students who bring awareness to smoking-related diseases. This is an essay contest and the winning applicants will be determined based on the content, style, and originality of their essays. There are no costs associated with submitting an application for this scholarship and the application deadlines are July 21 and January 21 of each year. Every year, selects three winners in the essay contest. The winners will receive awards toward their tuition. First, second, and third place winners receive scholarships of $2,000, $700, and $300, respectively. The scholarship awards may only be used to pay for college tuition and/or education-related expenses.

Tobacco-Free Life Academic Scholarship

Tobacco-Free Life is offering scholarship awards to the students who best demonstrate their skills in encouraging smokers to break free of their addiction by creating a well-researched and evidence-based paper offering advice to tobacco users. Fantasy Sports Daily Scholarship Program is awarding a general academic scholarship of $1,000 to eligible college students. We at Fantasy Sports Daily understand that financing your education can be difficult and expensive; as a result we would like to lend a hand.

Express Medical Supply Scholarship Program

The Express Medical Supply Scholarship contest is open for part time and full time college students. One entry will be selected as the winner and will be awarded the $500 scholarship. Our goal is to contribute to higher education and learning by offering the winning student financial assistance to help cover the expenses of tuition and books.

Albertson & Davidson, LLP Scholarship Contest

This California-based law firm will be awarding $2,500 college scholarship to the winner of their newly created essay contest. By creating this award, we hope to help the next generation of students realize their educational and professional goals.

Edward Tayter Outstanding Citizen Scholarship

The Edward Tayter Outstanding Citizen Scholarship and Essay Contest aims to give demonstrated community leaders and dedicated citizens an opportunity to purse the education that will inform and better their causes.

Michael Kiely Strong Roots Scholarship and Essay Contest

Michael Kiely is proud to sponsor the Strong Roots Scholarship and Essay Contest as a way to promote discussion about the meaning of community in the digital age and as a way to sponsor educational opportunities for individuals who are dedicated to building strong communities where passions and careers can take root.

This essay contest and the associated $500 scholarship is open to individuals throughout the country who are enrolled in any accredited post-secondary institution.

2017 Grasshopper Entrepreneur Scholarship

Grasshopper will award one (1) $5,000 scholarship for the best submitted entry determined by our judges. The scholarship will be awarded in check form, made payable directly to the university that the winner is, or will be, attending for a school term in 2017.
