Yuanlin Piao

Dr. Yuanlin Piao earned his Ph.D. and M.D. from Peking Union Medical College in 2004. He obtained a master’s degree in medical science majoring in Clinical Integration of Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine from Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences in 1997 and a Bachelor's diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from Changchun University of Chinese Medicine in 1994. He worked in the Department of TCM at Peking Union Medical College Hospital for more than 20 years, serving as Deputy Director from 2014 to 2022. In his distinguished career, Dr. Piao also served as Deputy Director at Qinghai Red Cross Hospital, visiting scholar at the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine, and Professor and Director of the Chinese and Korean Language Program at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine.


Specializing in integrative medicine, Dr. Piao focuses on applying authentic TCM to cancer support, difficult and complicated internal medicine diseases, chronic diabetes complications, and male reproductive diseases. He values TCM teaching and its internationalization. He has contributed to textbooks and is a member of the board of directors of several internationally renowned TCM academic organizations. Fluent in Chinese, Korean, and English, Dr. Piao is committed to developing global cooperation in TCM and integrative medicine.
